Sheriff Walton Welcomes A ONE.
The Association of Oklahoma
Narcotics Enforcers chose Rogers County as their convention site
this year and Sheriff Scott Walton welcomed the group during
opening ceremonies for the convention.
The convention brings together
law enforcement, judicial and executives from all around the
state to discuss issues facing narcotics investigators.
Walton told the group that Rogers
County's population is exploding and along with growth comes
issues of the drug trade. "It's a never ending problem," Walton
said.
"I am so proud of Rogers County,"
said Walton, "and I'm proud to welcome the men and women of A
ONE."
The convention lasted several
days at the Hard Rock hotel in Catoosa. "This was a great
opportunity to network with law enforcement and a wonderful
opportunity for the deputies of the Rogers County Sheriff's
Office to make new contacts and learn the latest tactics being
used to fight the drug trade," he said.
